St Paul’s Cathedral is looking for an enthusiastic person to join the Property team as a Property Maintenance Operative.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Property team with:
- labouring tasks
- assisting with lifting and moving heavy objects or equipment
- the maintenance and repair of equipment
The successful applicant will have:
- the ability to lift and move heavy objects, work at heights and climb staircases, including the 500+ steps to the galleries
- good interpersonal skills
- excellent team working skills
- adaptability
In return you’ll find we are a welcoming place to work and we each take responsibility for our part in the Cathedral’s work, looking after St Paul’s for the next generation.
- Our annual holiday allowance is 25 days plus bank holidays.
- Our pension scheme allows for up to 7.5% employer contribution.
- And as you might expect we have life assurance of four times basic salary and an employee assistance programme.
The successful applicant will also be expected to share in St Paul’s Cathedral’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
We are committed to creating and sustaining a diverse and inclusive workforce that represents our context and wider community.
We are aware that those of United Kingdom Minority Ethnic / Global Majority Heritage, women, and disabled people are currently under-represented in our workforce, and we particularly encourage applications from those with the relevant skills and experience that will increase our representation.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 21st July 2024 at 11.59pm.
Interviews will take place week commencing Monday 29th July 2024.
