Head of St Paul's Cathedral Institute
We are looking for an inspiring and strategic leader to support the relaunch of the St Paul’s Cathedral Institute.What you’ll do:Set the vision – work with the Chancellor to lead the strategic direction of the Institute, shaping its mission and programme.Curate exceptional content – develop an ambitious and engaging calendar of events, from large-scale Cathedral talks to intimate seminars.Grow the audience – build partnerships, raise the Institute’s profile, and extend its reach both in-person and online.Lead a talented team – inspire and manage a dynamic group of professionals dedicated to high-quality learning and engagement.Oversee operations – ensure smooth delivery of events, manage budgets, and align with our vision and values.What we’re looking for:A strategic leader with experience in an academic, cultural, or nonprofit setting.Good knowledge of Christian theology, spirituality, and ethics.A passion for engaging the public in intellectual and cultural conversations at the intersection of faith, art, history, and contemporary thought.Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent the Institute at events, conferences, and in the media.A track record of successfully managing teams, projects, and budgets in a complex organisation.Experience of public engagement, with an understanding of how to attract and inspire diverse audiences.The successful applicant will also be expected to share in our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.Why join us?At St Paul’s, we are committed to making a lasting impact through learning, thought leadership, and engagement.
