The resurrection story begins with the disciples’ broken hearts and lost hopes, and then opens up into series of astonishing meetings with the risen Jesus, which change their lives and ours. But these profoundly mysterious, open-ended encounters can leave us with more questions than answers.
In this reflective day we will take time to explore and contemplate Jesus’s resurrection appearances, focusing in particular on the meals that Jesus shares with his disciples and what it might mean for us to live as followers of the risen Jesus in the 21st century.
The day will include plenty of time for private contemplation.
