Chapter House
Chapter House
The Chapter House provides two unique spaces for fine dining, exclusive drinks receptions and private family gatherings with glorious views looking onto the Cathedral and the iconic Dome.
Designed and built by Sir Christopher Wren and his son in 1715, this elegant Queen Anne style red brick building is located immediately next to the Cathedral, and houses two rooms for receptions and dinners.
The rooms have been restored to their original glory with a wood panelled wall, chandeliers and portraits of the many characters that have been part of the Cathedral’s history. Chapter House is fully accessible, with lift access and accessible toilets.
Room capacity and layout
The dining rooms can house 70 people for a standing reception, or up to 32 for a seated dinner. They have AV capabilities and Wifi available.
