The St Paul's Cathedral Guild of Ringers has been invited to visit Vernet-les-Bains in southern France as part of the annual Perpignan Carillon Festival.

St George's Church in Vernet has an English style ring of ten bells, installed in 2019. It is the only English style ring in France and one of only a small number on the continent of Europe.

The St Paul’s ringers are due to arrive on Thursday 11th August and will participate in a variety of ringing events including practices with the local ringers, service ringing on Sunday and a full peal by members of the Guild on Saturday 13th.
