The Easter Vigil is the first service of Easter and begins with the symbolic expectant waiting for the resurrection of Jesus.

The Paschal Candle is lit from a new fire, which depicts the new life and light of Jesus' resurrection on the first Easter morning.

During this service we baptise, confirm and receive new Christians into the Church of God.
